They can travel easily by crawling onto clothing or even within bags.
Bed bugs can grow to around 5mm in length and fully grown adults are usually a dark brown colour. They can easily survive for long periods without feeding.

Finding bed bugs in your property can be challenging. The early signs of an infestation are usually bites on your skin which can become itchy and painful.
Bite areas can become sore and infected so if this happens, you may need to seek medical advice.

How Did Bed Bugs Get into your Property
I can be almost impossible to determine the source of the bed bug infestation.
They are very small and almost invisible to the naked eye and can travel undetected in packaging or on visitors clothing.
Common places for infestations are in reception seating areas where soft furnishings exist and have frequent visitors. Once deposited in these areas they can easily travel to other parts of the building where they can nest and multiply!
